For two decades, Mehera O’Brien’s career has unfolded across three continents – Europe, North America, and Africa. She currently serves as Head of Creative for the New York studio of argodesign, as well as the firm’s global practise lead for social impact. Her work combines strategy and design to solve challenges in both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors, with clients as diverse as Coca-Cola and Vodafone to NYC Votes and USAID.
While she strives to deliver something beautiful and easy to use, Mehera is equally interested in an organization’s ability to launch and sustain a new product or service. Her operational experience leading programs and design teams helps clients translate design into their organizations, strategically and tactically. The common thread in all her work is a deep fascination in the relationship between technology and culture, and an optimistic belief that designers have a role in shaping a better world.
